Matabari is one of the most important religious tourism destinations in Tripura, it attracts lots of tourists from different parts of India like Assam, Bangladesh.
The Tripureswari temple was released in September 2003 on the eastern side of Kalyan Sagar (a lake).
The temple is located approximately 3 km from Udaipur town. It also known as Tripura Sundari or Matabari.
Now the Tripura Government Has launched a new project or redevelopment of matabari as a Turtle Shape
