Dabangg 3 is the up and coming 2019 Indian Hindi-language activity satire movie coordinated by Prabhu Deva and delivered by Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan under their Salman Khan Films and Arbaaz Khan Productions pennants individually. The movie is a sequel to Dabangg 2's 2012 film and the Dabangg film series ' third installment. The screenplay of the film is composed of Salman Khan, Prabhu Deva, and Alok Upadhyay. The story is set in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The film highlights Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan and Mahie Gill repeating their past film jobs while Sudeep plays the foe. The theatrical release of Dabangg 3 is scheduled for 20 December 2019 in India.

Dabangg 3 was announced to be a prequel in 2013. In 2014, Dolly Ki Doli, director of the Arbaaz Khan show, announced during the promotion of his production that Dabangg 3 will indeed occur and that its pre-production will begin soon. He included: "It must be an idea out of the sack, at exactly that point would we be able to consider making it into a film. Dabangg 3 is not going to be about the story being carried forward, but it's going to be something very special. "Arbaaz Khan said he might not direct in March 2015. Dabangg 3 due to the high workload of being a producer, actor, and director. Arbaaz Khan said in April 2015 that it may take a year or two to shape the film as it has been postponed due to Sultan. After much speculation, Sonakshi Sinha will be part of Dabangg 3 and another actress may join her in August 2016.. Later in that month, it was reported that Kajol was offered the job of an adversary, however, she wouldn't play it, as she told the media that "herThe job was not as solid as that of Salman. '' It was reported in October 2017 that the writers had started to screen the film and that it would be on the floors by mid-2018. Arbaaz Khan confirmed in the following month that Prabhu Deva was going to direct the film and that he was going to look after creative control. As of March 2018, Deva confirmed that he is going to direct the film and Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, and Arbaaz Khan are going to portray their previous roles. The film score will be composed again by Sajid-Wajid. From 1 April, Salman and Arbaaz arrived in Indore on 31 March 2019 to start shooting for Dabangg 3.
